The patient was a 35 year old male who presented with hoarseness. Rigid video endoscopy revealed a polyp on right vocal cord and a thorn like projection on the corresponding surface of the left true vocal cord. The two lesions were removed with microlaryngeal surgical instruments. The patient had a marked improvement in his voice after surgery.
