The following categories of articles and papers may be submitted to the Online Journal.

  • Video or Picture of the Month: An interesting picture or video may be submitted along with 250 to 500 words describing the submitted material. Video size up to 2 minutes in length.
  • Clinical Otolaryngology Pearls (COP): Narrative of 750 to 1500 words accompanied with no more than 6 pictures or a video of up to 5 minutes in length.
  • Case Report: Brief 250 word abstract with a narrative of up to 4000 words. May contain a 5-minute video and/or pictures.
  • Chart Review or Reporting of Clinical Results: Abstract of up to 500 words with a narrative of up to 6000 words. Papers shall be divided into the following sections:
    • Introduction
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion
    • Summary
  • Research Papers: Research studies are also accepted. The size of the narrative and number of photographs and videos will vary depending upon the study's requirements. An abstract shall also be submitted with the following divisions:
    • Title of Paper
    • Purpose of Study
    • Experimental Design
    • Findings and Significance
    • Summary and Conclusion
  • The Research Paper shall be divided into the following sections.
    • Introduction
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion
    • Summary
